KPCA’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 26 March 2025 at 7:00pm at the Queenstown Golf Club. The meeting is open to all members and residents on the Peninsula.
After the excitement of the constitutional discussions last year, the formal business will focus on what we have done over the past year, for example
- facilitating the community input into the Jardine Park Development Plan;
- continuing to build our resilience capabilities in the event of an emergency; and
- advocating on behalf of the Peninsula on a variety of matters such as navigation safety bylaws (ski lanes) and traffic management (SH6 intersection).
Then we will hear the latest from Mike Mee about developments of the subdivisions on Peninsula Hill. Items of note include the building of a restaurant near the turnoff to Deer Park Heights; and the construction of a storm water culvert under Peninsula Road.
This is the opportunity for Peninsula folk to participate in their community association, so come along and bring your neighbours.
A community association is only as vibrant as its volunteers! If you are interested in getting involved beyond attending the AGM, whether on the main committee or with our various activity groups, please get in touch at talk2kpca@gmail.com.
