KPCA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 16 March 2022, at 7:00pm. Unfortunately, we cannot do so in our usual manner, given the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we will conduct the meeting online. To participate, please register your intention by sending an email to talk2kpca@gmail.com by Monday, 14 March. We will provide you with the meeting’s details, including the AGM papers and an electronic link to the event.
Our guest speaker at the AGM will be Glen Sowry, the new Chief Executive of the Airport. The Airport is now looking at its Ten-Year Plan to reflect what is possible within the existing noise boundaries and being able to respond to airline demand within those constraints. As part of that process, the Airport is focusing on restoring relationships with the wider community, while noting there will always be some tensions.
As the new CEO, Glen Sowry is aware of the considerable interest in the airport on the Peninsula. He welcomes the opportunity to talk to us about the airport and to understand first hand the perspectives of Kelvin Peninsula residents.
There is a lot to catch up on since our last AGM, particularly as we were unable to hold our half yearly meeting because of COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time. Please join us virtually on 16 March.
